There are no foot or ankle conditions that can’t be helped via treatment. Even if a condition is permanent, many measures can still be taken to increase a patient’s comfort and quality of life.
We always pursue conservative treatments whenever possible, and have a wide range of treatment methods ranging from the tried-and-true to the state-of-the art. We seek the most effective means of care that will best meet a patient’s needs and provide the least amount of inconvenience.
However, if conservative measures do not or will not work, we are capable of surgical intervention when necessary.

MLS Laser Therapy
Multiwave Locked System (MLS) laser therapy is our technologically advanced method for treating certain forms of soft tissue pain and injury. MLS therapy activates the body’s own natural healing processes to encourage better pain relief, reduction of swelling, and faster recovery times.
Heel and Arch Pain Treatment
Heel and arch pain are two of the most common symptoms we see in our patients.
Many potential diagnoses that can produce such pain exist, and the key to effective treatment is properly identifying the condition and its underlying causes. Whether your pain stems from plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, or another condition, we can get to the root of it.
Diabetic Foot Care
The consequences of diabetes on the feet can be especially serious if left unchecked. In addition to standard diabetes management, a specialist in diabetic foot care can provide direct treatment whenever needed and regularly scheduled preventative care to help avoid problems from developing.
Our office also specializes in diabetic footwear and other tools for keeping diabetic feet comfortable and safe.
Sports Injury Treatment
You do not have to be a pro, or even a fitness devotee, to suffer a sports injury of the foot or ankle. Injuries can come as result of a sudden force—such as a sprain—or from overuse of the muscles, bones, or other soft tissues.
Drs. Merrill and Geber both specialize in sports medicine and can recommend the best treatments to get you moving again as quickly and as safely as possible.
Nail and Skin Care
Skin and nail problems can be unsightly (such as plantar warts and fungal toenails) or painful (such as athlete’s foot and ingrown toenails). Whatever the condition, we can help treat the problem and prevent it from coming back.
Children’s Foot Care
Children can suffer from many of the same foot and ankle problems as adults, and even have some of their own unique troubles, too. Our staff takes care to treat the immediate needs of children’s feet and ankles as well as monitor for signs of possible problems in the future.
If there is a need for more than conservative measures to provide effective relief, then surgery may be considered as an option.
Our doctors specialize in many forms of surgery, including (but not limited to)
If surgery is a consideration, we will be certain to describe all your options and answer any questions you may have. We want you to move forward with your decision on care in the utmost confidence.
